Crochet headbands make the best gifts. They work up fast and are very popular to sell at craft fairs.
Ear warmers are very versatile and can be made with any yarn you like, such as velvet yarn or the latest trend: glow in the dark yarn.
Glow in the dark headbands are unique and make an amazing accessory at festivals or kids walking in the dark. I imagine they would be great for Halloween, too.
This beginner-friendly crochet pattern features slip stitches worked in the back loop only. It gives the fabric a knit-textured look which also happens to be very warm.
