About this pattern

Crochet scrunchies are very popular as they work up fast and make a great gift. They’re very popular to sell at craft fairs.

Glow in the dark scrunchies make an amazing accessory at festivals or kids walking in the dark.

Scrunchies are very versatile and can be made with any yarn you like, such as velvet yarn or the latest trend: glow in the dark yarn.

These glow-in-the-dark scrunchies are made using a hair tie. All you need to know is how to make single crochet and double crochet stitches.

About the yarn

For this scrunchie I’ve used Lion Brand DIY Glow yarn. As the name says, this yarn glows when the lights go down. It’s 100% polyester yarn in a classic worsted weight/CYC 4.

With 1 ball you can make 4 scrunchies, 5 if you’re lucky!

Fasten off, weave ends.
