Cute pug

Free crochet pattern pug dog

Last month, Koen and I were 7 years together. As Koen is a pug lover, I decided to surprise him with a self made pug. I have used a Spanish pug pattern from Canal Crochet and made some small adjustments. As the pattern is only available in Spanish, I have translated the pug pattern to English and Dutch. You can find the free English crochet pug pattern below (with approval from the original creator!). If you have any questions or remarks about the English pug pattern, please leave a comment at the bottom of this page.

Assembling
It is highly recommended to watch the video tutorial below. It shows you how to assemble everything. In the video you can see how to crochet around the eyes and the nose to give it more depth. One note: I only crocheted one row around the eyes, in the video two rows are made.

I really like this cute pug pattern. What brand of cotton thread or yarn do you use? I am having trouble making my pug as small as yours. I would really like to find the yarn or thread that you use. Thank you.
